The sponsor's argument
Why Patricia Canzoneri-Fitzpatrick says this is needed
This is an amendment to the social services law whereby reimbursement for home health services, provided by home health agencies, including their employees shall be increased to a minimum compensation standard set forth by the commissioner of the office of people with developmental disabilities.
This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
