The sponsor's argument

Why Cordell Cleare says this is needed

There are many programs across the state that are designed to assist and support individuals with Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Innovative ideas are implemented at the local level, but it is difficult for groups in other areas of the state to find out about them. Information about these innovative and successful programs should be available through the NY Connects program so that their success can be replicated in other areas.

This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
