The sponsor's argument

Why Robert Rolison says this is needed

This bill would grant peace officer status to uniformed court officers in the town of Montgomery, along with all of the privileges that come with such status in order to properly protect and secure the town court.

This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
