The sponsor's argument
Why Mark Walczyk says this is needed
Current law requires the municipality with the highest population in each county to host an early voting site. This requirement is not prac- tical in all cases depending on the geographical location of said muni- cipality in relation to the remainder of the county. A similar exception has been made in Washington County already and for similar reasons.
This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
