The sponsor's argument
The Greene County Legislature passed Resolution 10-25 on January 15, 2025, requesting that the New York State Legislature introduce and pass a bill to authorize the Greene county to continue to impose an addi- tional one percent sales and compensating use tax for the period through November 30, 2027.
This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
