The sponsor's argument
Why James Sanders Jr. says this is needed
We have no accounting as to how this revenue stream is spent. This legislation provides for a basic financial report of funds disbursed in that quarter, including the names of the recipients, amounts awarded, and the date the funds are received by the recipients.
This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
