Why Joseph P. Addabbo Jr. says this is needed

With the expansion of pending full-license casinos in New York State, it is essential that those sites that presently have racetrack locations continue to offer live racing activity. The Racing Industry in New York State provides more than 19,000 direct jobs and $3 billion annual impact to the State. This bill would clarify and remove any vagueness or poten- tial confusion in terms of racing activity. LEGISLATIVE.
