The sponsor's argument
Chapter 554 of the Laws of 2013 and Chapter 8 of the Laws of 2014 authorized certain individuals to provide applied behavior analysis services in certain OMH, OCFS, and OPWSS settings. There continues to be a demand for these services in these settings across the state. This legislation will ensure the continuity of these services for an addi- tional five years.
This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
