The sponsor's argument

Why Dan Stec says this is needed

In May 2025, the Warren County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution for this transfer. County officials believe the surplus property, located on Fox Farm Road in Queensbury, could provide necessary storage for the county Sheriff's Office. In discussions, DMNA officials have been supportive of this proposal.

This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
