The sponsor's argument

Why Robert Rolison says this is needed

This bill seeks to honor the brave individuals from East Fishkill who have served in the United States Armed Forces. By dedicating this specific portion of State Route 376 to East Fishkill veterans, the state provides a lasting, visible tribute to their sacrifices and dedication to our country. Ceremonial highway dedications serve as a daily reminder to the community of the local heroes who have protected our freedoms.

This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
