The sponsor's argument

Why Lea Webb says this is needed

Currently, the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is required to have their application forms to be made publicly available on the internet, but they aren't required to update their providers about any updates on these forms. Providers may unknowingly submit outdated forms which lead to unnecessary administrative burden from both parties and delay the deliverance of services while forms are corrected and resub- mitted. This bill would ease this burden by requiring OCFS to proactive- ly notify their licensed child day care providers of any changes to their forms listed in their website.

This is the sponsor's own case for the bill, quoted from their memorandum. It is not Agora's description of what the bill does.
