Purpose, from the sponsor's memo

The bill would provide a tax exemption for the years 2023 and 2024 of the address known as 9 Sumter Road located in Airmont, New York. This address previously paid property taxes when it did not need to pay. The Town Board of the Town of Ramapo has no objection to the passage of the above legislation and will agree to grant a tax exemption for the above property for the tax years in question if legislation is passed and signed by the Governor.
