Summary

This bill would require the Department of Transportation (“DOT”) to establish a program to install parcel lockers in each council district within 5 years. The bill would also require DOT to identify criteria to select parcel locker sites, develop standards and specifications for parcel lockers, maintain a map and list of sites on its website, and report to the Mayor and the Council on how the parcel lockers have performed. The bill would authorize DOT to select a third-party operator to maintain and install parcel lockers.
