Summary
This bill would require the Department of Social Services (DSS) to submit an annual, comprehensive report on its administration of the CityFHEPS program including the number of applicants at each stage of the application process from the time a CityFHEPS application is submitted by an individual or household to the time an individual successfully moves into a unit utilizing the CityFHEPS program, the average time elapsed between each stage in the process, the number of applicants within the reporting period who completed the process, disaggregated based on demographic information, unit inspection metrics, Homebase caseload sizes, and any other information the agency deems relevant. The bill would also require DSS to create a plan to monitor and improve its administration of the CityFHEPS program.
